Melvins Ticket Going Spare

had no joy getting shot of this on twitter or facebook so lets see if tumblr can work it’s magic…

so, generally speaking i’m an outspoken opponent of +1 culture & always make a point of not asking for them UNLESS I have a mate who literally can’t afford to go to the gig otherwise.

sometimes though despite all my efforts otherwise I get given them & it can cause more problems to remove my +1 than to leave it.

case in point, Melvins show tonight (21st May) at the Exchange.

so, if anyone fancies having their pretty little minds blown on an epic scale message me yo?

(PS It’s sold out so it’s not like we’ll be stiffing venue / band for a ticket sale).

Remember that lovely thing that used to import your weekly iTunes “Top 5 Scrobbled Artists”? Called “Last.fm Tumblr” & coded by JoeLaz it was ace.

It bust when Tumblr stopped you importing RSS feeds. :(

I still get it sent to my RSS readers though so I’m gonna start uploading a pic every week of my top listened to tracks I think. :)

Here’s the first. It’s rather randomly a top 22.

New Melvins Lite Album Streaming…

…The band that is 3/4’s of The Melvins and who arent very ‘lite’ at all are streaming their new album “Freak Puke” here.

Gutted I couldn’t score a ticket for their gig at The Croft the other day. Even tried to blag a guest list spot despite my being fervently against not paying for gigs - even if you’re reviews ed for a website like LTW & not just writing for some shitty little blog (ie this). Apparently they weren’t doing guest lists at all. Bummer.
